Exploding Planets in Blender 3D

Over the past month or so, I became obsessed with creating procedural large scale destruction of cinematic quality in blender. I had not seen anyone before me make the destruction of an entire planet appear realistic to me, so I took the task upon myself to do that. I ended up with these two products that I am very proud of.

None of these projects used any form of simulation, it was all constructed procedurally.
